Canôt camping
Canôt camping was an incredible experience that I definitely look forward to doing again. To sum it up, I completed my humanities and gym classes in an intensive program during the summer. We had 2 weeks of classes and preparation followed by 6 days of camping in nature. We started our expedition in the region of Outaouais and for 6 days canoeing on the Black River. Every day we would cover a distance of 20km or more! Despite the physical challenges, I had a blast because I got to meet so many awesome people during this trip. It was like a social adventure too! Everyone brought something unique to the table, and we formed some really tight bonds.

The best part, though, was how this trip allowed me to disconnect from the daily routine and connect with myself. Nature has a way of making you pause and reflect. I had some quality alone time with my thoughts and discovered things about myself I didn't know before. It was like a mini-journey of self-discovery.
Looking back, not only did this adventure make my next semester lighter, but it also gifted me memories I'll treasure forever. Canôt camping was a rollercoaster of an experience that added a ton of fun and depth to my life. I can confidently say that it was the highlight of my summer, and can't wait to do it all over again!
